skins Vs. Shirts

As the new wave of violence sets off in Gaza today - Ma'ariv (written not online) had a great set of pictures on it's 3rd page:

And just like in any game Also this game the teams were divided into 2 groups Skins and Shirts. We wouldn't want them shooting their own guys now would we??
May the best team win!
Shabbat Shalom

This is a very, very childish post. Nothing of substance, just plain sneering. Haven't you got anything better to do?

Oh, no. Absolutely not. (giggle)

More from the department of silly pictures.

actually gert,
this is of great substance - it shows the people you are so hard at defending at all costs - in thier true form and color. I would bring the articles that went along with the captions but I doubt that your hebrew is that good.

Gert, for you, the term "you just don't get it" is a great understatment. If you don't or can't understand the significance of these two images that you don't have much real comprehension when it comes to this conflict.

Olah:

This is really all you ever have to say to those who oppose your views: "you don't understand".

My dear, I understand a lot about the conflict but your post is cryptic, except for radicals like you and regreg23 (your resident British history revisionist). Perhaps it needs a secret handshake?

Stop being condescending and explain what this silly little post is supposed to mean: "shirts v. no shirts", I mean that's sooo clevah!!!

These stupid, stupid Pseudostinians pitted against these all too gifted Jews, I mean it's not fair now is it?

Do try and read Benny Morris or even Karsh, you might learn something yourself. Or, hey, live a little, try that other "leftist", Finkelstein.

The poverty of your arguments (summed up in "you're wrong, I'm right, so there") illustrates the paucity of your ideas and the prejudice in your thinking. I really don't think you understand much of the conflict at all: your common knowledge comes only from Nationalist Israeli historians. You know, we've got Nationalist historians in every country and broadly speaking they aren't to be trusted.

My Hebrew is about as good as your "Inglish": really crappy.

gert,
when I have the energy I will answer you.
and I will ingore you condescending comment about my english.

Gert, your condescending remarks are extremely ill advised. The post is extremely self-explanatory. The fact that you need explanation is proof of what I said. It seems that you are so blinded by your Palestinian sympathies that you fail to even be able to stand up and say when something bad is happening with those that you are sympathizing with. Even Palestinian bloggers and residents are standing up and screaming about the injustices that HAMAS is committing. While they are screaming that the Strip doesn't have money to feed the people, they some-how manage to find enough money to enlist 3,000 more men for their "new" militia, arm them with new weapons, clothe them in nifty uniforms, and pay them a salary. Why don't you stop defending and speaking down to the bloggers here, and open your eyes to what's really going on? But, I tell you this. I've stuck up for when you've been called names, even-though I don't agree with what you say. You attack my husband, personally, one more time like that, and you will be asked to leave. Do you understand that? Or, am I being myopic?

Olah:

Are you being myopic? Actually, yes. Firstly it's kind of you to stand up for me when I'm being called names, although I didn't ask for protection. Greg can say what he wants and call me rotten if it makes him feel better, for all I care. The only "bad language" I've ever used here is the word "myopic", G-d, that must have really stung!

You forget though that in the past you've basically called me an anti-Semite and have associated me with David Irving and that is something I will not forget so easily. I asked you to reconsider and you ignored me completely.

So, before you get on that high horse of yours, just think about that.

Gert, this is my blog, and I will protect the people commenting on it, so let's stop with the macho, "I didn't ask for your help" crap. Your comment about my husband's "inglish" was complete unacceptable, and that is what I am taking you to task for.

I refuse to beat a dead horse, but, again, I never called you an anti-semite, and I never directly associated you with David Irving. You are inferring and assuming. For the last time, do you know what happens when you assume? I did not ignore you. In fact, we went back and forth about that for over a weak and numerous comments. Maybe, you're getting a little forgetful in your old age. But, I digress.

You can call me myopic or on some high horse. I don't care. If you directly insult my husband or any other blogger here again, you will be asked to leave. This is your warning. It should be as self-explanatory as this post. Understood?

OK. We both need to lighten up a little here. If ever again I feel the need to poke fun at Oleh's writing I'll do it over at my own soapbox. Satisfied?

I'm lightened up just fine. You can point out grammatical errors or spelling mistakes. That's just fine and dandy. If you're into getting all nit-picky when you have no argument, I don't care. But, I will not accept name calling and personal attacks in a pathetic attempt to stifle debate. If you feel better or that your "argument" is enlightened by poking fun at other people, that's your problem, not mine. But, you are not to do it here. That's it. End of discussion.
