IDF in GAZA - day 2

I would like to take this post in another direction. This is not to ignore the horrible death of Eliyahu Asheri from Itamar (הי"ד), but to note something important.

Israel has been in Gaza for over 36 hours now, and it is important to note that not one person (Israeli, or Palestinian) has been even injured. This is not to say that it can't happen, and I am sure that it will as the days go on. But we also managed to arrest the heads of Hamas (something we should have done a long time ago) and all without firing a shot.

I hope to see this operation as a starting point to something we should have done in Gaza the day we pulled out of it, instead of letting them fire over 1000 rockets on Sderot, and planing other attacks on us. The best way to stop these sorts of things is to keep them running, like we did in 2002-3.

I also think that it is time to end this entire "Hamas Govt. Show" - they had fun for a few months, it's time for them to go back underground where they belong and hide from us, knowing that any day now could be their last. From Mahsal down... While we are at it, the existence of the PA should come to an end, In favor of a REAL Democratic GOVT. who actually wants peace.

It is the palestinian people who should get rid of hamas govt not your IDF.

The Pals voted them in. Now, they have to live with the consequences. You know, like grown ups.
