2 countries for 1 Nation?

Dan Margalit has an excellent post in Ma'ariv Today, about the fact that only half the Nation mourned the death of Eliyahu Asheri, just because he was a settler. Since the Post is in Hebrew I will bring the Heading here that sums up better than anything what he is trying to say. Although (or maybe despite it) he has to go off on his little "I support the Hitkansut" bit, the relevant part is all (sadly) true:

"The Fact that only half the country is mourning the death of Eliyahu Asheri, just because he is a Settler, is a Warning sign towards a way that leads to 2 countries for 1 Nation"

This is how he ends it, Once again I think it sums up what I think:
Loosely Translated he says that if he could, he would convince as many young couples to call their new born, Eliyahu, Eli, and Asher. A rain of Eliyahu on the Population Registration offices, with the appropriate explanation at the right age, because that is the identification needed on their day of joy during 2006 to go and prove that All Jews are "brothers".

And on the lighter side of this, it is good to be back in the Days where the Death of someone by Palestinians is something that is talked about for more than 2 hours. After the Rain of death he had suffered in the past 6 years, it is "good" (good is such a bad term for something like this) to see that we are starting to notice that our Brothers and Sisters are more than a statistic, such as our neighbors on the other side of the Fence are doing all the time.
May we never have to read of another person being murdered by Palestinian Terror ever again!
Hoping for better Days!

And, may we never have to hear of another Palestinian being sent out to die by their parents. And, may we never hear of another Palestinian child being killed because a terrorist used them as a human shield. And, may we never hear of another Palestinian child dying because of some excuse of occupation.
Amen. Amen.
