Downplaying Anti-semitism

Yes, we had the TV on for the third Shabbat in a row. We were actually up north at my family, and we wanted to make sure that if there was an emergency, we would be prepared for it. Anyways, there we were watching the hourly news update early yesterday afternoon when Channel 2 breaks their story to report that a an American-Muslim had broken into the JCC in Seattle, Washington and killed on woman and shot several others. Immediately, the FBI spokes-person on scene said that there was no reason to conclude that this had anything to do with what's happening in the Middle East. Of course, this statement comes after it was mentioned that when the Pakistani man was arrested, he started yelling, "I hate Israel!" No, one obviously has nothing to do with another. Then, the head of the police force in Seattle said that they were treating this as a hate crime. This is the exact problem with the criminal justice system in the United States. There is still, almost 5 years after 9/11, no communication and unity between the local and federal law enforcement agencies.

As the after-noon hours went on, and Channel 2 was reporting updates, I was wondering what Fox News was showing and stuff. Channel 2 answered the question by stating that they've been monitoring the American press, and that the murder and attack was being very much being down-played by the media. The question to be asked is why? Why is this even being down-played by the MSM? This is a big deal.

The only plausible answer is that the MSM, as usual, has an agenda. In this case, that agenda is in setting out to show and prove that Israel is being attacked for legitimate reasons, both by Hezbollah and by Hamas. Israel is an occupier. Therefore, resistance is legitimate. It is Israel, not Jews who is being attacked. At least, that is what they want you to believe. They would say proof of this is the fact that Arab and Druze villages have been struck by Hezbollah Katyushas, showing that the terrorists are NOT descriminating between Jew and gentile. Israeli Druze and Arab children have been killed in this fight. Thefore, they would say, this is an attack against Israel, pure and simple. Nothing more. Saying it's an attack on Jews would be foolish in light of Arab and Druze casualties. Ah, but you miss the subtle yet vital difference between the two. When Israel, read here: JEWISH, children have been killed in this war, nothing has been said by Nasrallah. He has just come saying that they are proof of the impending and inevitable Hezbollah victory. However, when 2 Arab children were killed in a Katyusha attack on Nezareth, Nasrallah apologized for their deaths and called them martyrs and shahids, sacrifices in the war against the infidels; against the JEWS. You see, these Arabs and Druze simply have the unfortunate fate of living on soil occupied by Jews. Therefore, they are automatically included in the category of martys and holy warriors fighting against the Jews on their own ground. It doesn't matter that they never asked to be part of this fight, or that their support is not part and parcel in putting their lives in danger. Their part in this fight is one of geography. The Katyushas aren't being aimed at Arab or Druze towns. They just happen to live near Jewish towns and cities. Bad luck, I suppose.

So, this fight IS against the Jews. It is not against Israel simply. It is against Israel because that is where the Jews live, and they interfere with the Khomenist ideology of the Islamic Revolution. If the Jews' country was in Uganda, as it had been proposed many moons ago, the Islamists that are taking over Somalia, Sudan, and Rwanda would be fighting the Jews there also. This is what the MSM doesn't want you to know. This war is NOT against Israel. It is against the Jews. It is against what they represent, and, by proxy, what the entire Western World represents. Hence, this is a fight against the entire non-Khomenist world. Therefore, the fight is any-where and every-where. It is being fought as much in Kiryat Shmona as it is being fought in Seattle. The appeasers and the MSM's agenda don't want to believe that. They want to show that the fight is being fought only against Israel, not Jews. If the attack on the JCC in Seattle is an attacks against Jews, by proxy, through Israel, the it's Jews all over the world who are under attack, not Israel. They don't want you to think that you can't escape the fight by being in Canada or America or Spain. They want you to believe it's only Israel. But, listen to those who say we are fighting on the front lines for the entire world's fight. They are absolutely correct. We are simply fighting the war the rest of the free world is choosing not to fight, because they hope that we will win it for them. But, rest assured, Israel is fighting for her life, and by proxy, that of the entire free world. For if we were to lose, then the world is in for a fight the likes of which they have never seen. Those who santify and cherish life against those who wish for nothing more than death and paradise. The whole world is in for the fight of its ideologies, morallity, values, its very SOUL. Appeasement and "cease-fire" is nothing more than a victory for those who does not speak our language.

Our language is life and its protections. Nasrallah and his kind hear of the death of 20 children, and they do NOT weep. They celebrate, waiting to reap the benfits of the PR media fest that comes with it. When 9 soldiers die, they see it as a victory. When they hear talks of cease-fire from the "powerful" democracies, they see it as a victory, because, to them, only the weak speak of appeasement. The strong speak of war and blood-shed. For those of you who have never really seen Nasrallah speak, yesterday night's speech was not like the American analysts said. I heard the Fox News analysts speak like this speech was a tough call to arms. They couldn't be more wrong. Those of us in Israel who have seen Nasrallah speak before know that this speech is one of weakness and propoganda. There were no fiery body movements, no screaming and incantations. He was extremely subdued and knowingly lying throught his teeth to stop his troops from running. This was not the Nasrallah of old. He is scared, and it is the IDF who have caused the chink in his armor. This is the language he understands, and he has grossly underestimated our response. Again, because he doesn't speak our language, and we don't speak his. He sees Israeli discourse and diversions of opinion, as represents any true democracy, as weakness and as a sign that Israel is ready to fall. It's not about learning to speak his language. We would never do that. Because in doing so, we would lose our morallity. But, we must face him head on. A cease-fire and an offer of milk and cookies will NOT work. We must hit him and hit him hard until he realizes that it's not worth for him to attack. This is also why the event in Seattle must be shown for what it is. The attack against the free world.

If the world does not wake up soon and realize that the attacks on Israel is merely a representation of what is being planend against the rest of the world, then they are in for events much worse than what was seen almost 5 years ago in New York, DC, and Shanksville. For more great analysis, please read what Michelle Malkin has to say.

Agree with everything, except I think there's another reason why the FBI guy underplayed the incident - they are afraid of a riot. They simply don't want to deal with any "trouble". (Not that it's an excuse). But there's a reason they are treating it as a hate crime.

Who are they afraid of for a riot? The Jews? I'm not sure I'm following you with that.

They are afraid of copycat incidents if the discussion of a "Muslim" is brought up - and the copycat incidents could bring about political clashes and problems they just don't want to deal with. Apparently, Seattle has been having problems for some time.

Well, if they don't face the problem head on and call it what is, they're going to have much worse problems on their hands.
