More about Gaza

This is a comment I wrote on Jameel's Blog in response to his "Disengagement - behind the scenes"post:

As one who "supported" the Disengagement last year (Support is the wrong word but for lack of a better one), I will be the first to admit that It failed.
It failed because the Basic element that was came as part of the deal was the Security element. And when Israel stood by idly while Kassams were falling on Sderot, that was the first sign of failure.
Israel Ran a long hard race, it sweat, and was in pain, and all seemed that it was going to come in first place. But then a few hundred meters before the End, it Stopped. It decided it didn't want to win (as olmert said), and it never crossed the Finish line. Now a year latter after the Race has been over for 10 months, it decided to walk across the line. Of course by now that line means nothing, and after sitting on the track for 10 months looking at the finish line but not going there it has made the line it's new Enemy. It wasn't ever that it couldn't cross it, it just didn't want to. It thought the line would come to it, all it had to do is wait.

Now we are getting ready to start an even Longer Race, a Harder one, without Having finished the previous one.

Just to be clear, I am totally against the Hitkansut, I think it is a stupid and very dangerous Idea that will just bring more terror and more death, and put the Entire country in the worst situation it has ever been in. I see no Value to it at all, given that we are in total control of Judea and Shomron, and manage to stop over 99% of all attacks on Israel, with little or no cost to our Army. Giving up that would be suicide, and I am not ready for Israel to be a Shaheed.

well osaid,
I would rather see you "occupied" forever than see another Jew Murdered by one of your Brothers.
Call me crazy but I like to live, and if the way to do is to make you live unhappily than well I choose life for both. Since the alternitive is What was going on here in 2001-2003 - and I am not willing to go back to that.
Besides - in the past year since Gaza has been Free of Jews - What have you managed to do there?? If your people would have spent the time building houses instead of Tunnels, and training for Jobs, instead of terrorists, we would not be in the sittuation we are today.

thank you.
You are not ONLY occupying, you are killing.
Not only you wants to live, we

osaid, seeing as you never actually answered my initial requestion for you to document the events as they happened, I have no choice but to dismiss your claims off-hand. It is because of your actions and no-one else's, that you are in the situation you are today. Grow up and take some god-damn personal responsiblity.
