Nightly News Updates: Day 20

10:10 PM: Terrorists opened fired on vehicles driving between Nili and Ofrah in Samaria a short while ago. At least one vehicle was hit, but no injuries were reported.

There is a fear of terrorist infiltration between the settlements of Magal and Matzar. An explosion was heard near the security fence, and there is a fear that terrorists broke into the area.

In an interview for an Arab internet site, an Arab Army "expert" estimates that the bomb used in Kfar Qana, which allegedly killed 26 civilians (*I am using the official Internation Red Cross number, NOT the one given by Lebanese sources and that's been used by the international media*), was a smart bomb like those used by the United Stated in Tora Bora in Afghanistan. He also said that it's a possibility that the bomb that was used also contained enriched uranium. (*You might ask why I would bother to report this garbage, but it's necessary to show the lies that are being reported in the Arab world, especially the old blood libel that the Jews use toxically tainted weapons against their "enemies".*)

9:32 PM: In an unprecented move, the IDF buried the bodies of 10 Hezbollah terrorists that were killed in the fighting in southern Lebanon. The Rabbinate over-saw the burial. They were buried in the Cemetary for Enemy Dead in northern Israel. (*Yeah, I'd like to see Hezbollah, Hamas, and their kind give the same respect to Jews that they kill. Or, even their own people. Oh, that's right! When they have a dead Jew, they disembowel them, lynch them, and rip them to pieces with their bare heard, and then leave their left-overs to rot.*)

9:08 PM: UEFA has informed Israel that for the time being, no foot-ball games will be played in Israel.

8:56 PM: Despite reports that the truck that was hit by the IAF last night, in which 5 people were injured, was simply a reliefs convoy, the IDF is claiming that the truck was carrying weapons from Syria into Lebanon.

8:10 PM: IDF intelligence is claiming that while Hezbollah has thousands of rockets left, the IDF and IAF has severely decimated their launching capabilities and that they only have a small number of rocket launchers left.

Several Knesset members are filing complaints against Arab Knesset members who called DM Peretz a "murderer" and "man of war" at this morning's full member Knesset meeting.

The IDF is denying Hezbollah's Al-Manar's reports that the group hit an Israeli Naval ship off the coast of Tzur.

The IDF is denying that they are responsible for a mine that exploded last night on the Syrian side of the border. The IAF did carry out an operation near the border last night, but they say that there's no possibility that they could have caused the mine to explode. It is not clear what caused the explosion.

Olah :

/On the one hand, we cannot continue relationships with individuals who refuse to acknowledge certain fundamental realities and core values that we hold so dear. We must stand fast to these core values. Israel has a right to exist. Debates pertaining to Israel must not include incendiary rhetoric and demagoguery. Hamas and Hezbollah engage in terrorism. Israel has not only the right but the obligation to protect itself. And Israel and the terrorist organizations it combats are not moral equivalents/

Here are some other 'fundamental realities' that you should keep in mind :
...Israel is occupying the West BAnk and Gaza and has been violating international laws constantly.
... Israel has been engaged in criminal acts against civilian Palestinians, depriving them from their basic rights as well as denying them their freedom, and security.

Not so many facts, but important ones, too.

Osaid,
I would love for you to show me where Occupation violates Int. Law - you can start with The Geneva Conv. Maybe you should look under "Laws of OCCUPATION".

I know crazy - but occupation is legal - and the Israeli court system makes sure that Israel keeps to them - while it might not be nice - it's still very legal.

On the oher hand (once again) Targeting Civilians on purpus or using them as shields (as your Govt. does so well) is very much ilegal.

Osaid, here's something that you still have not done for me, prove it. You keep talking about these "facts" to remember, or you throw these "facts" around. Why don't you do something fundamentally radical for yourself for a change, PROVE IT.
