UN=Useless Neandrathals?

As we reported earlier, Secretary General Kofi Anan is calling for a full investigation into the bombing of a UN oberserver outpost by the IAF. Of course, this call for a full investigation came AFTER Kofi already accused Israel of DELIBERATELY bombing the outpost. Israel is denying any claim that they deliberately bombed the outpost. The only way Israel would have done such a thing is if they had reason to believe and susbstantial evidence that Hezbollah was using the outpost to fire Katyushas and/or fire on Israeli soldiers. If that turns out to be the case, then Kofi will have a bigger investigation on his hands than he bargained for. Think Oil For Food Scandal times 2 or 3. UN forces allowing or even colluding with the enemy. Investigations are ongoing in the UN that UN forces around Africa have taken part in the almost regulatory rape with the women in the villages they are supposed to be protecting. Of course, we can see how well a job UN "peace keeping" forces have done throughout their history. See how well they have done in the Sudan, Somalia, Rwanda, the Sinai, Lebanon, and any-where else they've been placed. Then, ask yourself that one question that the UN has not asked itself since its inception after the dismembermant of the League of Nations.

Have the United Nations Peace Keeping Forces ever actually kept the peace any-where in the world? Have they done their job? Has the UN, in general, actually helped make the world a safer place?

There is a very good reason why the United Nations have not been asked, like they would have accepted in any case, to send a humanitarian force into Israel. At least 1 million residents from the north are refugees, having run from the north as the risk to their lives increase with every Katyusha rocket that's been launched. The other million have been living in bomb shelters for the past 2 weeks. But, you will NOT see one refugee camp here. Jews have this thing. We take care of one another. We've opened our houses and our kitchens to any-one who needs it.

Now, there's another problem. LGF has reported this interesting fact:
United Nations is busily repairing damaged roads in Hizballah-controlled areas—roads the IAF bombed specifically to impede Hizballah movement—right in the middle of the war.
UNIFIL is still facing serious restrictions in its freedom of movement due to the ongoing hostilities and the extensive destruction of roads and bridges throughout the area of operation. Yesterday, a UNIFIL engineering contingent from China managed to do some repairs on a key road artery between Tyre and Naqoura, and the road is now usable for traffic. However, more road destruction was reported in various areas in the south. Read the whole Report...

Let's get one thing straight. 6 years and 600 million dollars later, and the UNIFIL "peace keepers" have done NOTHING. Oh, they've done a couple of things. They've taped and stood idly by while 3 Israeli soldiers were kidnapped and butchered. Then, they and the entire United Nations spent months lying and covering up the charges. They've had lunches and drank tea with Hezbollah terrorists. Oh yeah, and they did nothing while Hezbollah kidnapped 2 Israeli soldiers and started launching Katyushas into Israel over 2 weeks ago. They've done stuff, but they have done everything BUT keep the peace.

Now, they are helping and aiding Hezbollah, again, in killing more Israelis. It is no secret that Syria is continuously attempting to supply Hezbollah with weapons at the VERY SAME TIME that they are telling the world that they don't want to get involved. The dangerous game that Syria is playing is a different story for a different day. However, as it is very well known that Hezbollah is attempting to continue to ship weapons in from the north and east, UNIFIL is helping them out of their own selfish needs. Israel has already told the UN that they'll supply the UN with whatever their outposts need, but UNIFIL has decided that, for some reason, it HAS TO repair roads in order to get "whatever" to their outposts. They are repairing the very same roads that the IAF has bombed in order to STOP Hezbollah from shipping more weapons to the border to shoot at soldiers and into Israel.

Does this surprise you? If it doesn, you haven't been reading up on what the UN has been up to for the past 60 years or so.

What's the job of the UN again?

How about Ninkempoops?

It sounds suitably ridiculous.
