EU Ready To Stand Up To Terrorists
Only they see ISRAEL as being the terrorists. No response to the death, destruction, and mutilation in Sderot. No, because they see the terrorists' rocket shelling as completely justified. The EU never ceases to amaze how ready and willing they are to "appease" those that wish to destroy them. Tell me again how they did in WWII??? They were on the wrong side of history in that battle, and, as usual, they are on the wrong side of history now too.

EU to send troops to Gaza

The European Parliament passed on Thursday a proposal to send a multi-national force to Gaza designed to pressure Israel to "stop all its military operations" in the region.
The vote, which was passed by a vast majority, called for a force similar to the one stationed in southern Lebanon. European representatives also condemned Israel's "disproportionate use of force and the economic siege laid on Gaza." (AFP)

Yeah, you're absolutely right. Until the Zionistas receives the global carte blanche to kill every Palestinian, "Israel" never will be safe.
But do you really think Israel would ever be safe from itself, though?
Behemoth, if you're not willing to recognize Israel without quotation marks, seeming to me that you're not actually recognizing the country, than don't bother writing anything. Secondly, do you really think YOU will ever be safe from YOURSELF??? Stay away from outlets.

I put Israel in quotes because I am asking the larger question:
How do you protect something that claims to be simultaneously a people, a place, and an intangible idea?
The term "Israel" refers to all three depending on whom you ask.
Well to you, we're genocidal, atheists, and "Zealots" all at the same time. It's really depending on who you ask.

You're in college for crying out loud. Go drinking or protest against Globilization. Join a fraternity, but do something collegiate with your time besides being on your computer all day. You're only in college once your life. Make it useful and memorable.
