UN: Perdiction Coming True?

Earlier today, I wrote an article about the uselessness of the United Nations. Amongst other things, I wrote about the possibility that the IAF targeted the outpost because Hezbollah was using it as cover from which to hide and fight with IDF troops.
As we reported earlier, Secretary General Kofi Anan is calling for a full investigation into the bombing of a UN oberserver outpost by the IAF. Of course, this call for a full investigation came AFTER Kofi already accused Israel of DELIBERATELY bombing the outpost. Israel is denying any claim that they deliberately bombed the outpost. The only way Israel would have done such a thing is if they had reason to believe and susbstantial evidence that Hezbollah was using the outpost to fire Katyushas and/or fire on Israeli soldiers. If that turns out to be the case, then Kofi will have a bigger investigation on his hands than he bargained for. Think Oil For Food Scandal times 2 or 3. UN forces allowing or even colluding with the enemy.

Well, it turns out that it's very possible that my analysis could very well turn out to be correct. It would also explain why the Canadian Prime Minister, just a short while ago, publically stated his immense doubts that Israel deliberately targeted the UN outpost. You see, there is a huge difference between deliberately targeting the outpost, as Kofi and his cronies are accusing, for the sole purpose of killing members of the United Nations, and targeting a station being deliberately used by terrorists to fire on enemy soldiers. If it turns out to be true and investigations prove that Hezbollah was hiding out and firing on the IDF and Israel from within the outpost, than it was completely LEGITIMATE for the IDF and IAF to return fire. In that case, it is the UNITED NATIONS who will be investigated to determine whether Hezbollah over-powered the UN members and basically took them hostage or if the UN members colluded or collaborated with Hezbollah and actually allowed Hezbollah to use their outpost. It isn't that big of a stretch from eating and drinking tea with terrorists to "helping them out in a pinch".

So, why do I believe that the investigations is going in this investigation? Again, curtesy of LGF, former Canadian Major General Lewis Mackenzie stated this on an interview with CBC radio: (You really should listen to the whole thing!)
We received emails from him a few days ago, and he was describing the fact that he was taking fire within, in one case, three meters of his position for tactical necessity, not being targeted. Now that’s veiled speech in the military. What he was telling us was Hezbollah soldiers were all over his position and the IDF were targeting them. And that’s a favorite trick by people who don’t have representation in the UN. They use the UN as shields knowing that they can’t be punished for it.

I wonder what Mr. Anan will have to say about this? Probably the same thing he had to say after Israel accused the UN of hiding of a video-tape that showed UNIFIL members standing by as Hezbollah kidnapped 3 Israeli soldiers. And, probably the same he said when evidence came out that the Oil For Food Scandal went all the way to the top.... DENY, DENY, DENY.... Then, blame some-one else... BLAME ISRAEL!!

Because of Canada's latest turn-around, I've decided to change the song from "BLAME CANADA!" to "BLAME ISRAEL!" It shall be from this day forth, the official them song for the United Nations!!

UPDATE: Something else you haven't heard today...:
Another UN position of the Ghanaian battalion in the area of Marwahin in the western sector was also directly hit by one mortar round from the Hezbollah side last night. The round did not explode, and there were no casualties or material damage. Another 5 incidents of firing close to UN positions from the Israeli side were reported yesterday. It was also reported that Hezbollah fired from the vicinity of four UN positions at Alma ash Shab, Tibnin, Brashit, and At Tiri. All UNIFIL positions remain occupied and maintained by the troops.

I also vote for changing the song! If only Trey Parker and Matt Stone would join in the cause. That would be great. A South Park episode about the stupidity of the UN. Actually, I think there might already be a few. Eh. Whatever.

Either way who cares, cuz mashiach's gonna be here within the week anyway, so this will all be over pretty soon. Better make sure your suit's back from the cleaners!
